Nicholas Chalmers

Nick joined Cairn Capital in 2019 and is the Chief Executive Officer, a director of Cairn Capital Limited and a member of the Executive Management Committee. Previously, he was CEO & President at Oceanwood Capital where he was instrumental in building a $2.5 billion European focused event driven hedge fund. Prior to that, he was with JH Whitney in a leadership role successfully building their public markets business. Nick started his career at Schroders where he ran their Alternative Investment Group initially in Asia Pacific and later in North America.
