Louise Young

Louise Young is an experienced community support worker currently employed at Cairn Housing Association since February 2020. Louise has held the role of Lead for the Better Off North Ayrshire program at Ancho since January 2018, focusing on providing intensive support to disadvantaged individuals in North Ayrshire. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead at CEIS Ayrshire from March 2016 to January 2018 and as an Employment Support Allowance Consultant at Working Links from September 2012 to March 2016, where support was provided to vulnerable job seekers. Additionally, Louise worked with the National Autistic Society from June 2001 to September 2012, supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Louise holds a postgraduate degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre and has completed various programs in social care and related fields at Ayrshire College.
