Devansh Tomar

Devansh Tomar is a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Cairn Oil and Gas since October 2023, specializing in reservoir and drilling analysis. Responsibilities include performing IPR VLP analysis, decline curve analysis, and pressure transient analysis for various fields, as well as conducting offset well analysis and casing design using WELLCAT software for west coast wells. Previous experience includes a summer internship at Schlumberger, where Devansh developed a standardized workflow for micro-annulus detection and automated the process using Python. Additionally, experience includes a winter trainee role at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd focusing on well services and workover operations, and a web development internship at The Sparks Foundation. Devansh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, completed in 2023.
