Maura Winston

Chief People Officer at Cairn

Maura Winston has had a long and successful career in change management. Maura began their career with Accenture, where they helped government and corporate clients successfully plan, design, and implement large-scale change programmes. In this role, Maura was responsible for the Learning and Organisational Development components of the programme. Her experience included working with An Garda Siochana and the Department of Social Welfare to implement national change programmes spanning several years.

Maura then moved to the Federal Court of Australia, where they served as Director Court Innovation & Change Management. In this role, they were responsible for the implementation of change programmes across the Courts, including working with the Courts leadership to identify future innovation opportunities.

Most recently, Maura is serving as Chief People Officer at Cairn. In this role, they are responsible for leading the people strategy for the company.

Maura Winston studied social and organizational psychology at University College Dublin for their master's degree. Maura also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from University College Dublin.

Maura Winston reports to Michael Stanley, Chief Executive Officer. and Eiméar O'Flanagan - Head of HR Operations reports to Maura Winston. They work with Gavin Whelan - Head of Construction & Operations, Tara Grimley - Company Secretary, and Shane Doherty - CFO & Director.
