Mahmoud Ismael has extensive work experience in the field of network and IT security. Mahmoud has worked at Cairo Amman Bank since 2015, starting as a System Support Engineer at Alpha Hub. Mahmoud then moved on to Access to Arabia as a Senior Network Support Engineer in 2018. In 2019, Mahmoud joined Cairo Amman Bank again as a Network Security Specialist, before being promoted to Head of Network and IT Security Department in 2020. Mahmoud's role at Cairo Amman Bank involved overseeing network operations and leading the network and IT security team.
Mahmoud Ismael pursued their education at the University of Jordan from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a specialization in Business Information Technology. In addition to their university degree, Mahmoud also holds several certifications. Mahmoud obtained their CCNA R&S certification from Cisco in February 2016. Subsequently, in February 2018, they achieved the JNCIS-ENT, JunOS-102, and CCNP R&S certifications from Juniper Networks and Cisco, respectively. In March 2018, they obtained the JNCIP-ENT certification from Juniper Networks. Maher Ismael's most recent certification is the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) obtained in February 2019 from Cisco. Mahmoud also has plans to obtain the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in February 2023.
