Elwin Chai

Elwin Chai is an experienced finance professional specializing in private equity within the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Managing Director at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) after previously holding the position of Senior Director, Chai has a strong background with GIC as Vice President in various private equity roles across Asia and Europe. Additionally, Chai is involved as a Board Member for Greenstone Financial Services, Rothesay, and RAC. Chai holds a BSE in Computer Science and a BS in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, respectively, completing studies between 2001 and 2005.
