Michel Dion

Michel Dion is a seasoned data architecture consultant currently serving as a Senior Data Architecture Consultant at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Big Data Solution Architect at agileDSS, working on projects for clients such as Métro and Energir, and leading a team at Yellow Pages as a Senior Solutions Architect, where Michel supervised the development of knowledge management systems and an ontology-based search engine. Earlier positions include contributions as a Principal Architect at Expedia, where Michel led significant projects like the Venere connectivity and Expedia Quick Connect, as well as various web programming and development roles at companies such as Newtrade Technologies and My Virtual Model. Michel holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy & Literary Studies, alongside extensive training in IT-related fields.
