Nguyễn Văn Thuận

Nguyễn Văn Thuận has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Nguyễn Văn is currently the Head of Mobile Engineering at Cake by VPBank - Digital Bank since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mobile App Manager at MoMo (M_Service) from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for re-architecting and refactoring the MoMo App Core platform, enhancing app security, and designing and developing new event tracking engines.

Before joining MoMo, Thuận had a significant tenure at VNG Corporation. Nguyễn Văn worked as a Principal Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021, performing full-stack software development, designing mobile architectures, and creating backend chat servers. Nguyễn Văn also served as a Lead Software Engineer from 2018 to 2019, handling Android and iOS development, backend services using Java and SpringBoot, and designing mobile architectures. Additionally, Thuận held the role of Senior Software Engineer, Android Team Leader from 2017 to 2018, where they were responsible for Android development, team leadership, and training.

Prior to VNG Corporation, Thuận worked at EdgeWorks German R&D Software Ltd. as an Android Team Leader for a brief period in 2016. Nguyễn Văn also had a similar role at Stacck, where they were responsible for android application development and architecture in 2016.

In the early stages of their career, Thuận worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Android at VNG from 2013 to 2016, focusing on research and development for Laban Key - Android Vietnamese Keyboard. Nguyễn Văn also worked as a Java Software Engineer at GNT Vietnam from 2012 to 2013, participating in web and backend services development for web games. Nguyễn Văn began their professional journey as an Associate Software Engineer at VNG Corporation in 2011, where they researched and developed backend services using C/C++, Java, and open-source technologies.

Nguyễn Văn Thuận holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from Ho Chi Minh University of Science, where they attended from 2007 to 2011.
