Joana Mikaela Liew has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joana Mikaela is currently the VP of People at Cake DeFi. In 2022, Liew was the Head of HR, Singapore & Global Talent Development at OKX. Joana Mikaela served as the Head of Talent & Organization Development for APAC & META at ByteDance from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they were the Regional Associate Director of Learning & Talent Development at McCann Worldgroup from 2017 to 2018. Liew also worked as the Group Learning & Development Manager at Al-Futtaim from 2015 to 2017. Joana Mikaela gained experience at Samsung Electronics as a Regional Assistant Manager for Training and Customer Care from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they held roles at Far East Organization, Sime Darby, Studio M Hotel - A Millennium & Copthorne Hotel, and Singapore Airlines, where they started their career as a Flight Stewardess in 2004.
