Shannon Griffin has three years of professional experience. In 2020, they were a Customer Support Representative at Cake and a Loans Assessor at the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, they were a BDF Junior Analyst and an Administrative Assistant at QIC. During their secondment at the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority, they contributed to the review and approval of almost $500 million across 3,000 loans to Queensland businesses to assist them through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shannon Griffin attended The University of Queensland from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Finance, General. Shannon then attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2016 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Business in Finance, General. Shannon is currently attending QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2019 to 2021, where they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business (Integrated Marketing Communication).
