Matan Philipson has extensive work experience in the IT and operations field. Matan started their career at Cal (Israel Credit Cards) in 2020, where they held the positions of VP of Information, Technologies & Operations and CIO/COO. In these roles, they were responsible for defining the IT work plan, leading the IT and Operations division, and aligning the organization's strategy with its goals.

Prior to their time at Cal, Matan worked at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from 2009 to 2020. During this time, they held various roles including Head of IT Department for Operational Data Mining, Head of IT Department for Application Infrastructures and Cyber Security, IT Branch Manager for Chief Engineer and Development Manager, and Head of IT Department for Data Mining Systems. These positions allowed him to gain expertise in areas such as software development, risk management, and data analysis.

Matan Philipson began their education in 1997 at Hadassah Academic College, where they pursued a field of study in Software Practical Engineering and graduated with honors. Matan then continued their education at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering from 1999 to 2002, where they focused on Software Engineering and Industrial Management. Matan's educational journey culminated at The Open University of Israel, where they pursued an MBA from 2003 to 2007.
