Suren Sanai

Suren Sanai is a dedicated aerospace engineering student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, with experience as a Student Researcher, where significant accomplishments include developing a rotating test stand for the Cal Poly Supersonic Wind Tunnel and performing flow parameter calculations. Currently serving as Corresponding Secretary for The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc., responsibilities involve maintaining communication with national headquarters and completing membership reports. As a Systems Engineer at PolySat, Suren translates requirements and performs thermal analysis for a CubeSat mission while collaborating on satellite prototypes. Leadership experience as Feed System Development Captain at Cal Poly Space Systems includes conceptualizing mechanical assemblies, and prior roles as Recreational Supervisor and Leader for the City of Pacifica involved organizing recreational programs for children. Expected graduation is June 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
