Dak Modi

Dak (Dakshesh) Modi has extensive experience in the IT industry, starting as a Software Engineer at Resource Information Management Systems, Inc. in 2000. Dak (Dakshesh) then progressed to roles such as Lead at The TriZetto Group, Senior Dev/Scrum Master at Sungard, and Dev Lead - Agile at FIS. Currently, at Calamos Investments, Dak serves as the VP, Director of Agile & PM, leading Agile and Cloud transformation initiatives, including enabling cloud migration of Enterprise Data Warehouse to Azure Cloud Databricks platform.

Dak Modi pursued their education starting from Fr. Agnelo High School from 1978 to 1989. Dak (Dakshesh) then obtained a Diploma in Digital Electronics from Bombay Institute Of Technology (BIT) from 1989 to 1992. Subsequently, they completed their Bachelors in Electronics & Telecommunication from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1992 and 1996. Later on, they pursued a Masters in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University from 1998 to 2000. Lastly, they acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rasmussen University from 2020 to 2022. Dak also holds certifications in Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org, Azure from Microsoft, CSM from Scrum Alliance, and ITIL from Global Knowledge.
