Jimmy Atkinson

Jimmy Atkinson, CFA, has a diversified work experience starting from Wachovia Securities as a Client Service Assistant in 2001 to their current role as VP, Associate Portfolio Manager at Calamos Investments. Jimmy has held various positions such as Fund Accountant at Watershed Asset Management, Audit Senior at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and CFO/COO at Sub-Sahara Capital. Their roles have allowed him to develop a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and investment management.

Jimmy Atkinson, CFA obtained a BBA in Business with a focus on Finance and Accounting from the University of Hawai'i - Shidler College of Business in 2003. Jimmy later became a Charterholder from the CFA Institute in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Iolani School from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they hold an inactive CPA license in California obtained in 2008.
