Amna Jara

Amna Jara currently serves as the Manager of Student Life and Alumni Relations at Calbright College since August 2022. Previously, from November 2004 to August 2022, Amna held the position of Student Activities Coordinator at Cerritos College, where responsibilities included overseeing campus clubs and organizations as well as advising the Executive Cabinet of Associated Students. Amna also served as the Automotive Program Facilitator, advising automotive students and coordinating outreach and events. Committed to diversity and inclusion, Amna participates in several committees, including the Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans (APIDA) and the Diversity Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee (DEEOAC). Amna's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Arts in Occupational Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.
