Tarek Polite

Tarek Polite has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tarek started their career in 1993 as the Section 8 Coordinator at Calcasieu Parish Housing Department. In 1996, they took on the role of Executive Director at the Housing Authority of Orange County, Texas, before returning to Calcasieu Parish as the Training & Compliance Coordinator in 2000. From 2005 to 2011, Tarek served as the Coordinator of Federal Program Development at the Calcasieu Parish Office of Federal Program Development. In 2012, they joined Flavin Realty as a Licensed Real Estate Agent. Currently, they are the Director of Human Services at Calcasieu Parish Police Jury.

Tarek Polite has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from Lamar University, which they obtained from 1998 to 1999.
