Calcasieu Parish (pronounced CAL-ca-shoo) is located in Southwest Louisiana and has a population of 192,768. The Calcasieu Parish governing body consists of 15 Police Jurors are elected to serve 15 single-member districts covering the entire parish. Two regular meetings are held each month, usually on the first and third Thursdays with a committee night held monthly on the fourth Thursday.
