Kathleen Direnna

Kathleen DiRenna, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in employee relations, strategic HR support, and diversity management.

Kathleen most recently served as the Director of People Services/Human Resources at Congruex, where they worked closely with senior leaders to create partnerships across the organization and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Prior to that, Kathleen worked at York Risk as an Employee Relations Consultant, managing employee relations operations and providing advisement and support to employees and leadership on workplace issues.

Kathleen also held various roles at Spectrum, Chase, National Grid, and Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, where they gained expertise in areas such as conflict resolution, workforce planning, and EEO compliance.

Kathleen DiRenna, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University, obtained in 1983. Kathleen also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Le Moyne College, obtained in 1997. In addition, they have obtained certification in EEO Studies from Cornell University. Kathleen has additional certifications including SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management, obtained in October 2019, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute, obtained in October 2018. Kathleen also has certifications as a DiSC Certified Facilitator and a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certified Facilitator. Furthermore, Kathleen possesses a State of Ohio Substitute Teaching License from the State of Ohio Department of Education.
