Teri Talbot is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as an Accountant for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury's Department of Animal Services since January 2014. Prior experience includes roles as an Accountant at The Broussard Group from March 2010 to December 2013, and as Human Resources and PR Admin at Reeves Development between September 2007 and June 2009. Teri began a career as a Cost Accountant at Global Industries (July 2006 - September 2007), where responsibilities included daily cost tracking for offshore vessels. Other relevant experience encompasses a Staff Accountant position at Langley Williams & Co., assisting with tax returns and audits, and a Cost Analyst role at ConocoPhillips focused on daily cost tracking for turnarounds. Calcasieu Parish (pronounced CAL-ca-shoo) is located in Southwest Louisiana and has a population of 192,768. Two regular meetings are held each month, usually on the first and third Thursdays with a committee night held monthly on the fourth Thursday.
