Edwin Young

Edwin Young is an experienced professional in the oil and gas sector with a strong background in operations, engineering, and project management. Currently serving as General Manager Technical at Calcasieu Refining Company since February 2024, Edwin oversees projects related to process, environmental, IT, and laboratory functions. Previously, as the Director for Downstream Operations at SPIE Oil & Gas Malaysia, Edwin directed operations activities and supported commissioning and startup operations for major projects, including the US$27 billion Pengerang RAPID project. Additional roles include CSU Manager at Bechtel Corporation, Commissioning & Start-up Director at Wood, and Director of Commissioning Operations Maintenance and Training at Foster Wheeler, among others. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
