Ariel Markelevich

Ariel Markelevich has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Baruch College from 2003 to 2009. From 2003 to 2005, they were also a Financial Consultant at CAB & Co. LLP CPAs. In 2009, they became an Associate Professor of Accounting at Suffolk University and a Fellow at the Center for Innovation and Change Leadership. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Member of the Technology Solutions and Practices Standing Advisory Committee at IMA, and in 2013 they became a Member Communications & Services Steering Committee at XBRL US, Inc. and a Member of the XBRL Certification Board at XBRL International, Inc. From 2013 to 2022, they were the Chief Product Development Officer at Calcbench. In 2016, they became President of the Board of Directors and a Board Member at Bowen After School Care Program. Since 2022, they have been an Advisor at the Israel Securities Authority.

Ariel Markelevich has an extensive educational background. Ariel obtained their Ph.D. in Business-Accounting from The City University of New York in 2003. Prior to that, they earned an M.S.M in Accounting and Finance from Tel Aviv University in 1995, and a BA in Management and Economics from The Open University of Israel in 1993. In addition, Markelevich has obtained several certifications, including International Financial Research Analyst - IFRA from the Academy of International Financial Research Analysts in 2017, Silver Level from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2015, and CMA from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2005.
