Camela Diaz

Camela Diaz, Ed.D. has over 19 years of work experience in the education field. Camela is currently serving as the Director of Secondary Education at Caledonia Community Schools since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lansing School District for 19 years in various roles, including Associate Superintendent, Aspiring Leaders and Principal Network Coordinator, Executive Director of School Improvement, Administrator on Special Assignment, Assistant Director for Student Learning, and Principal of Post Oak Academy.

Camela Diaz, Ed.D. holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University. Camela also obtained several additional certifications, including Central Office Certification from the Michigan Department of Education in June 2022, South Carolina Education Certification in Administration, Principal, and Teacher from the South Carolina Department of Education in September 2017, and Teacher Certification in various subjects from the Michigan Department of Education in June 2018.
