Kyle MacLean

Kyle Maclean has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kyle began their career in 2001 as a Computer Course Instructor at The Calgary Immigrant Educational Society. In 2004, they joined TVI Pacific Inc. as an Information Technology Support, where they worked for a few months. Later in 2004, they joined Calgary Alternative Support Services as a Systems Analyst and worked there for 14 years until 2018. During their time at Calgary Alternative Support Services, they also served as a Support Home Provider and eventually became the Director of Operations in 2018.

Kyle Maclean completed their Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calgary between 1999 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended Western Canada Highschool from 1995 to 1998. Apart from their formal education, Kyle also obtained multiple certifications in various areas including anxiety practical intervention strategies, trauma informed leadership, emergency first aid CPR/AED level A, opioid poisoning response training, crisis prevention and intervention, harm reduction, trauma informed care, great supervision levels 1 and 2, and mental health first aid. The certifications were acquired from different institutions between 2019 and 2022.
