Kevin Wehlage

Kevin Wehlage is an experienced educator currently serving as a Learning Leader in Science at the Calgary Board of Education since September 2015. In this role, Kevin leads various science courses, including Biology and general science at multiple levels. Prior to this position, Kevin has gained diverse teaching experience through international and local pre-service teaching roles, focusing on subjects such as Geology, Physics, and English in Iceland, as well as Mathematics and Chemistry in Canadian schools. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Education in Biology and Chemistry from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Physical Sciences from the University of Alberta. Throughout the career, Kevin has demonstrated a commitment to collaborative teaching practices, innovative lesson planning, and student engagement.
