Ken Whittemore

Ken Whittemore has a diverse work experience in the grocery industry. Ken currently holds the position of Director Grocery Merchandising at Calgary Co-op, which they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Category Manager at Calgary Co-op from January 2019 to October 2023. Before joining Calgary Co-op, Ken served as the Director of Fuel Operations at Sobeys from October 2015 to January 2018. Ken also worked as a Sales Manager in Grocery Operations at Safeway Canada from July 2008 to October 2015. Prior to that, they held the role of Sales Manager in Deli/Food Service at Canada Safeway from December 2006 to June 2008. Ken's career in the grocery industry began as a Grocery Category Manager at Safeway Canada, where they worked from September 2000 to December 2006.

Ken Whittemore attended Mount Royal University from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Marketing Management Diploma with a focus on Marketing.
