Helen de Faye is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in economic development and tourism sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Calgary Economic Development since March 2022, Helen promotes Calgary as a prime location for investment and business, fostering long-term economic growth. Previously, Helen held leadership roles at Destination Canada from June 2015 to February 2022, including Senior Manager of Program Development and Senior Manager of Global Content Marketing, focused on enhancing Canada's tourism industry's research and marketing efforts. Helen’s earlier experience includes managing integrated digital marketing campaigns at Destination Think! and project analysis roles at the BC Ministry of Health Services and the BC Ministry of Labour and Citizen’s Services. Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction in Marketing and International Business from the University of Victoria.
