Dillan Schmitz is an award-winning composer and sound designer specializing in video games and film, currently working at King Aurorus Music since 2017. Dillan's education includes a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. In addition to composition, Dillan serves as a board member for the Calgary Game Developers Association, contributing to the growth of Alberta's game development sector. Previous roles include a box office assistant at Mount Royal University, a Twitch streamer focusing on music production, and teaching positions at Feely Music and Calgary Stetsons Showband, among others.
