Jon Higgins is a seasoned professional in business development and marketing within the video game industry. Currently serving as the Senior Business Development Manager at Studio Capital Management since September 2021, Jon has successfully contributed to closing over $250M in transactions for clients in the interactive software sector. Additionally, Jon is a Board Member of the Calgary Game Developers Association, which supports over 1000 developers in Calgary, Alberta. Previously, Jon held the position of Director of Business Development & Communications at New World Interactive, where strategic growth was a focus, and also led the company's European operations as Studio Head in Amsterdam. Jon's earlier experience includes serving as VP of Marketing & Research at Machinefloor, where significant growth of the GameBanana Network was achieved. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Reading.
