Currently serving as the General Director & CEO of Calgary Opera, Sue previously enhanced audience engagement as Chief Audience Officer at the Norman Rockwell Museum, leading a team in revitalizing strategies to better connect with diverse audiences. Significant prior roles include founding Director of the Tanglewood Learning Institute at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where Sue expanded the cultural destination's offerings and secured a $72M capital campaign, and Director of Education at Seattle Opera, during which Sue reshaped public programming amid financial challenges. Sue's academic credentials include a Master of Music from the University of Southern California and expertise in Digital Transformation from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside multiple leadership certificates.
