Rory Thompson

Rory Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in recruitment, training, and military relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Recruitment & Training at Calgary Police Service since May 2021, Rory previously held various leadership roles at Canadian Pacific Railway, including Director of Learning and Development & Military Relations. Rory's military career spanned over eight years with the British Army, where significant achievements included project management of large-scale military training operations and development of telecommunications strategies, culminating in the management of substantial budgets and personnel. Rory holds a degree in Information Systems Management from Cranfield University and has completed various leadership and project management courses.
