Conservation Research Analyst at Calgary Zoo

Dylan Cole is a dedicated conservation research analyst at Calgary Zoo since July 2021, with a background in aquatic biology from a previous position as a junior aquatic biologist at Jacobs. Dylan's experience includes conducting snorkel surveys, fish spawning surveys, and stream assessments, as well as providing water quality monitoring and fish salvage support. Prior roles encompass serving as an interpretive river guide at RiverWatch Institute of Alberta, an environmental technologist at Basin Environmental Ltd, and various research and teaching positions at the University of Alberta and University of Calgary. Dylan holds a Master of Science in Animal Physiology from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Calgary.
