Biplab Roy

Biplab Roy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Biplab is currently working as a Sr. Engineering Leader at Calibo since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Altimetrik as a Sr. Engineering Leader from January 2018 to March 2021. Biplab also held the role of AVP - Head of Agile Practice & Transformation at Altimetrik from March 2014 to August 2017, where they focused on conceptualizing and coaching the organization in its Agile transformation journey. Before that, Biplab worked as a Principal Consultant - Enterprise Agile Coach at Oracle Corporation from December 2010 to February 2014, where they played a key role in transforming the organization into Agile methodologies and mentoring various product teams. Biplab also worked as a Project Manager at HCL Technologies from July 2008 to December 2010, where their primary responsibility was managing development and consulting projects with an Agile approach. Biplab has also gained experience as a Consultant from HCL at Deutsche Bank and as a Project Manager at JBA InfoTech Pvt Ltd. Early in their career, they worked as a Consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation and as an End-to-End Project Manager at IBM Global Service India. Biplab's expertise lies in Agile transformation, project management, and engineering leadership.

Biplab Roy completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur from 1996 to 2000. Biplab then pursued a postgraduate diploma in Operation Management from the Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2003 and 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, Biplab obtained the following qualifications:

- Scaled Agile Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2017.

- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum Alliance in August 2014.
