Ameet Kher

Ameet Kher is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management across various technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Leader at IPSY since August 2025, Ameet oversees a significant platform for beauty subscription services. Prior to IPSY, Ameet held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Sleep Number Corporation, where the focus was on IoT bed applications. Ameet's earlier roles include Director of Software Engineering at MobileIron, where leadership spanned local and offshore teams for enterprise-grade mobile device management, and Senior Manager positions at Western Digital and Mitel, emphasizing mobile applications and unified communication platforms. Ameet's technical journey began as a Software Engineer at renowned companies including Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks, with a strong foundation in voice over IP protocols and communications. Ameet holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
