Hitesh Suryawanshi

Hitesh Suryawanshi has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Hitesh is currently working as a Product development Engineer III - Data at Calibo since May 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at Capgemini from September 2018 to June 2022 as a Big Data Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and improving frameworks using PySpark and Hive. Hitesh also worked on validating, cleaning, standardizing, and storing data in Parquet format and creating external Hive tables for downstream frameworks.

Before Capgemini, Hitesh worked at Harbinger Systems as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2017 to September 2018. In this role, they had a deep understanding and knowledge of Hadoop Architecture and its components. Hitesh imported tables from RDBMS to HDFS using Sqoop, created Hive tables, loaded data, and wrote Hive queries.

Prior to their time at Harbinger Systems, Hitesh worked at Capgemini as an Associate Consultant from April 2015 to March 2017. Hitesh'sresponsibilities included ingesting data from various relational database providers onto HDFS for analysis and other big data operations. Hitesh also wrote MapReduce jobs for copying data, defining job flows, and ingesting XML, EBCDIC, and Flat files into the Hive Warehouse.

Hitesh started their career at Deskera as a Java Developer from November 2013 to February 2015. Hitesh worked on developing modules such as Customer Invoice, Vendor Invoice, Sales Order, and Purchase Order for Deskera Accounting, an online ERP software.

Overall, Hitesh Suryawanshi has gained extensive experience in data engineering, Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, and Java development throughout their career.

Hitesh Suryawanshi completed their education in computer engineering. Hitesh first attended K.K.Wagh from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science. Hitesh then went on to pursue a Bachelor's of Engineering at Dr. D. Y. Patil COE in Pune from 2010 to 2013, specializing in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Hitesh also acquired additional certifications. In September 2016, they received the "M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers" certification from MongoDB, Inc. Furthermore, in December 2015, they obtained the "HDP Certified Java Developer" certification from Hortonworks.
