Hershel Holiday Sr., Edd

Hershel Holiday Sr., EdD has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Hershel started their career as the Plans Chief at Eighth U.S. Army in Korea from 2000 to 2002. Hershel then worked at the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Policy) from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they served as an Assistant Professor at the National Defense University from 2011 to 2014. Hershel worked as an Institutional Researcher at the National Defense University from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Business Solutions Architect at STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL SOLUTIONS LIMITED, where they focused on IT program prioritization and governance for the Veterans Health Administration. In 2017, they took on the role of an Academic Coach at Instructional Connections, LLC, where they mentored undergraduate students in courses such as Political Science and Sociology. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Currently, they are employed as an Instructor at CALIBRE Systems, Inc.

Hershel Holiday Sr., EdD has a strong education history, with a range of degrees spanning multiple prestigious institutions. Their most recent educational achievement was obtaining a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in 2016 from The George Washington University. Their doctoral studies focused on the Executive Leadership Program, with a particular emphasis on Organizational Change, Leadership, Culture, and Learning.

Prior to that, Hershel obtained a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Army War College in 2008. In 1999, they earned their first Master's degree in the same field at the School of Advanced Military Studies. Additionally, Hershel holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Louisville, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995.

Hershel's educational journey started with their Bachelor's degree in National Security Policy Studies, which they earned from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
