Casey Fleeter Masuda is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Calico Life Sciences since September 2022, focusing on mathematical modeling approaches to study aging and analyzing biological data within the Computational Sciences group. Previously, Casey completed a Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Stanford University, where they were a PhD Researcher from January 2016 to August 2022. Casey has also gained experience as a Graduate Student Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, developing multi-fidelity uncertainty quantification techniques. Prior teaching roles at Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences included several fellowships in Applied Mathematics and a teaching fellowship for CS50. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Harvard University and a Master's and Doctorate in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Stanford University.
