Damian Trujillo

Damian Trujillo is an experienced professional in the field of molecular and cell biology, currently serving as Associate Director of Biomarkers at Calico Life Sciences since June 2025. Previously, Damian held the position of Senior Research Scientist II at Gilead Sciences from August 2024 to August 2025 and worked at RAPT Therapeutics from April 2019 to September 2024, progressing from Scientist II to Associate Director. Other roles include Scientist positions at Aduro Biotech and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where research focused on disease tolerance during malaria infection in mice. Damian earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, following a B.S. in Biology from The University of New Mexico.
