Dan Eaton

I focus on the purification of both recombinant and native proteins and their characterization using a variety of biophysical techniques. I also focus on identifying and characterizing protein interactions, including aggregation using techniques such as SPR, ITC, TR-FRET and cell based binding assays.

I worked at Genentech for over 30 years. In the last 15 years of my Genentech tenure I was the Sr. Director of the Protein Chemistry Department which consisted ~75 RAs, SRAs and Scientist representing four groups; Protein purification, Protein Conjugation, Functional Genomics and Proteomics. My own lab focused on protein purification/characterization, protein-protein interactions, and development of novel bispecific antibody platforms.
