Tuan Nguyen

Tuan "Andrew" Nguyen is a highly experienced principal scientist specializing in flow cytometry and translational oncology biomarkers. Currently leading the Flow Cytometry Group at Calico Life Sciences since 2022, Tuan focuses on developing innovative cytometry solutions to enhance oncology's translational strategies. Prior experience includes roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, where Tuan reimagined the flow cytometry biomarker discovery engine, and AbbVie, where Tuan championed high-dimensional flow cytometry assays for clinical trials. Tuan's academic background encompasses advanced degrees in immunology and economics from San José State University and a B.A. in immunology and economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Tuan has also contributed to education as a guest lecturer at San Jose State University and as a flow cytometry instructor at BD.
