Jenny Konschak is a seasoned professional in industry relations and communications, currently serving as Senior Manager at the Almond Board of California since July 2008. Throughout their tenure, Jenny has played a pivotal role in organizing the annual Almond Industry Conference, engaging with media, managing social media for the industry, and developing educational materials for Ag in the Classroom. Prior to this, Jenny gained valuable experience as a Corporate Public Relations Consultant at Hilmar Cheese Company and completed internships focused on safety and biosecurity at the California Poultry Federation. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

We do this on behalf of California’s over 6,800 almond growers and 100 processors, many of whom are third- and fourth- generation farmers. To be a sustainable crop for California, we’ve increased and accelerated our research investment in key areas like water conservation, air quality and 22nd century agronomics. Agriculture isn’t a static industry; it’s always evolving with changes in climate, resource availability, science, and technology. Our research programs keep us on the forefront of this change. We’re constantly learning more and helping California’s almond community take advantage of the latest science in order to meet the future needs of the industry while benefiting local communities and the environment. We represent an industry that is committed to ensuring that almonds are an economically, environmentally and socially responsible crop for California. Established in 1950 and based in Modesto, California, we are a non-profit organization that administers a grower-enacted Federal Marketing Order under the supervision of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
