Marrs Gist

Marrs Gist is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in engineering and automation. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at California Bioenergy LLC since May 2022, Marrs has previously held key roles including Operations Manager at Amazon and Director of Engineering and Automation at Monrovia Plants. Additionally, Marrs has experience as Plant Manager at Mar Vista Resources, where leadership was provided to transition a startup chemical plant into a successful enterprise. Prior roles include Senior Manager at Southern California Edison, overseeing the Energy Education Center, and earlier positions at Monrovia Plants focused on advancing throughput in the nursery industry. Marrs holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Fresno.
