Amber Pool possesses extensive experience in organic certification and horticulture. Since October 2006, Amber has worked at CCOF as an organic certification specialist and farm certification technical specialist, contributing expertise in agricultural standards. Prior to this role, Amber was a certified nursery consultant at The Home Depot from January 2001 to February 2011, where responsibilities included sales, product recommendations, and display creation. Amber's career began at Animal Emporium as a sales associate from August 1997 to October 1999. Academically, Amber holds a degree in Environmental Horticulture Science with a focus on Plant Protection from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and completed general education in agriculture at Palomar College.

California Certified Organic Farmers develops organic agriculture for a healthy world through organic certification, education, advocacy, and promotion. They advocate on behalf of their members for organic policies, support the growth of organic through education and grants, and provide organic certification that is personal and accessible.
