Jeff Rowe

Jeff Rowe is an experienced professional in the fields of certification and quality assurance, currently serving as a Handler Certification Specialist at CCOF since September 2024. Prior to this role, Jeff worked as a Certification Officer at Oregon Tilth from February 2014 to September 2024. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member and Volunteer Coordinator Intern at Kitchen Commons, participation in the Beginning Urban Farmer Apprenticeship with Multnomah County/Oregon State Extension, and various positions at Genentech, including Quality Assurance Specialist and Senior Manufacturing Technician. Jeff Rowe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Urban Anthropology from Wayne State University, as well as two Master’s degrees in Food Science and Food Systems and Technology from Oregon State University and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, respectively. An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training was obtained from Johnson & Wales University.
