Joy L. Johnson

Joy L. Johnson is an experienced professional in agricultural certification and environmental studies. Currently serving as a Farm Certification Specialist at CCOF since August 2022, Joy previously held the position of Certification Specialist at the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association from February 2019 to August 2022, where responsibilities included reviewing compliance with National Organic Program standards and developing certification policies. Joy also has experience as an Administrative Assistant, Owner of Home of Joy Family Daycare, Graduate Assistant at the University of Wyoming, Environment Volunteer with the Peace Corps, and Volunteer Coordinator for AmeriCorps. Joy holds a Master of Arts in International Studies/Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies/Spanish from the University of North Texas.
