Elizabeth Robitaille

Chief Schools Officer at CALIFORNIA CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION

Elizabeth is Chief Schools Officer and leads CCSA’s teams that support charter schools in improving quality and accelerating the closing of opportunity gaps through strengthened academic performance, fiscal, operational & governance practices, research, school development, conference and membership. Before joining CCSA in 2007, she developed the strategic infrastructure for assessing preschool quality at Los Angeles Universal Preschool and managed the agency’s flagship funding initiative totaling $35 million in grants distributed. Prior to that, Elizabeth directed the Family Care division of Los Angeles Education Partnership where she managed initiatives to build stronger community-school linkages to overcome barriers to student learning. She has a Doctorate in Education, MBA (Nonprofit Management), MA (Urban Planning/Community Development) and BA (Communications) from the University of California, Los Angeles. Elizabeth is also a busy mom of three young boys who keep her house well supplied in legos, dinosaurs, foam swords and general hullabaloo.
