Michelle Magyar

Michelle Magyar has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving in various leadership roles at the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence since February 2017, including Executive Advisor and Senior Advisor. Prior to this, Michelle held the position of Project Manager at the California State Board of Education from February 2015 to February 2017 and served as an Administrator at the California Department of Education from February 2008 to February 2015, focusing on P-20 coordination and policy analysis. Michelle's academic background includes a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor at California State University, Long Beach, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Michelle holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.S. in Kinesiology from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University.
