Rafi Ajl

Rafi Ajl is a seasoned professional in design and entrepreneurship with extensive experience as the Owner of The Long Confidence, a furniture and homegoods company in Berkeley, California, since June 2017. Additionally, Rafi serves as Principal at Escape Velocity, a design consultancy, and has held academic positions as an Adjunct Professor in MFA Design at California College of the Arts and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of California, Davis. Previous roles include Product Director at Highway1, where Rafi managed interdisciplinary teams in hardware acceleration, and Founder of Raphael Cycles, a custom bicycle frame fabrication shop. Rafi holds an MFA in Design from California College of the Arts and has educational credentials from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and Hampshire College.
