John Dunn

John Dunn is an experienced professional in apprenticeship and workforce training, currently serving as the Regional Director of Apprenticeship for the Bay Area Community College Consortium since December 2021. Previously, John held roles including Assistant Secretary for Apprenticeship & Workforce Training at the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency and Special Consultant for Apprenticeships at American River College. A strong background includes coordinating apprenticeship programs, overseeing significant budgets for educational initiatives, and fostering collaborations among educational institutions, industry partners, and government agencies. John also has teaching experience in technology and educational administration and holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA and an MA in Education-Technology from California State University-Sacramento.
