Desirae Barragan is a Program Specialist at the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health, where Desirae connects researchers, students, and Indigenous communities to build data supporting strong self-determined Indigenous futures. Previously, Desirae served as a Data Warriors Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, and was an AISES Region 2 Student Representative at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. Desirae also held leadership roles at UCLA American Indian Student Association and UCLA AISES, focusing on providing support services, coordinating events, and promoting STEM studies.
