Max Ladow is currently serving as a CA Senate Housing Consultant and Science Policy Fellow at the California Council on Science and Technology since November 2023. Previously, Max was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, where research focused on systems neuroscience, particularly regarding associative memory and learning in mice. Max has a strong background in leadership roles within student government and diversity initiatives during academic tenure, including a successful covid-relief program that returned approximately $40K to students in need. Max holds a PhD in Neuroscience from UCSF and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University. Research experience includes working as a Research Technician at Columbia University Medical Center and contributing to projects at various renowned institutions, including Brown University and Rockefeller University, focusing on memory and learning within distinct neural circuits.
