Julie Baretsky

Julie Baretsky has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and research analysis. Julie began their career as a Marketing Intern at Gorbel in 2004. Julie later joined Marketing Evolution as a Project Manager in 2006 and then transitioned to the role of Senior Research Analyst in 2007. In 2009, they joined The Sacramento Bee as a Market Analyst and eventually became a Sr. Research Analyst - Team Lead in 2012. In 2016, they joined the California Dental Association as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they created dashboards and presented findings on membership and marketing data. Julie then progressed to the position of Business Intelligence Manager in 2018, where they managed other business intelligence personnel and handled individual analytical work. Currently, Julie is serving as the Director of Business Intelligence at the California Dental Association, where they are responsible for leading a team and continuing their individual contributions. Throughout their career, Julie has utilized various tools and languages such as Tableau, Power BI, python/pandas, SQL, and R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.

Julie Baretsky obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2005.
